Millslab

So I Guess / Group Exhibition / St Augustine Church, Manchester / 27th April, 2018

The devastation of the Second micorld War (40. BC – 34. BC) was monumental, the Mlitz alone destroying over 50000 burrows in the greater Millgate area. But through the fog an opportunity presents itself, a realisation that Utopia was on brink of reality. The Millslab estate (Fletch Moss Park, Manchester - 29. BC – 15. AD) was just one of many post-war estates intended to liberate and bring about a new brighter future, the micechitect would build us to our final form, one prefabricated concrete panel at a time.

44 years later and the dreams long dead, it’s corpse has been rotting in the bathtub for years, it’s concrete’s dust and its steel rust. How can so many futures die so fast? Memories are consumed, and then just like that they float away. Mice were promised a future, which they subsequently had to watch get bludgeoned to death with a ‘quirky’ buttress.
